By 1998, Chris Rogers & I had worked in A/V over a decade. Chris had focused on custom integration and audiophile systems. I had managed a commercial A/V house and a big box store and spent some time in the mom & pops as well. Old customers from Underground Sound or Modern Music still recognize us from time to time! We decided to start our own business, where we could be in control of the service, quality and product decisions. There is a lot to know in this business and it constantly changes. Chris and I are able to focus on different areas of expertise. Although we are still learning after 35+ years in the business, together, we bring a level of knowledge that our competitors simply can’t. We aren’t mere salespeople. We have run wire and done all the dirty work. We’ve programmed and troubleshot the most sophisticated of systems. We combine to make decisions that work better for our clients than we would make individually.
