Updated to leave a more in-depth review of the Burmester 956 MKII.BURMESTER 956 MKII 5-STAR REVIEW...I've had the pleasure to hear Burmester amps at highend audio shows and in retail showrooms several times but never in my own home. I knew I was getting a rock-solid product, but it's still hard to anticipate the final outcome in your own space with your own equipment. I upgraded from McIntosh MC601 dual monoblocks and was concerned that the decrease in power (600wpc down to 250wpc into 8-ohms) would overshadow the sonic performance improvement, but with my Focal Scala Utopia EVO speakers being very efficient, I am thrilled to say that Chris' guidance was spot on and I don't miss the power difference whatsoever! Sonically, Burmester always sounds like it has tons of horsepower left under the hood, and it still feels this way in my setup. Its sound is never stretched beyond its limits and has a distinct fullness that I just don't hear in other amps. The detail and musicality of these amps are all there with a wide, clean soundstage. Chris has been kind to check in every so often to ensure I'm happy with them as well. Suffice it to say that I made a great choice in buying from AV Artistry and with the amps I chose!ORIGINAL 5-STAR REVIEW...I will plan to leave 2 reviews; the first being of Audio Video Artistry and the second being of the pair of Burmester 956 MKIIs I picked up today.First off, they're closed on Sundays, but since I was traveling from out of town, the owner, Chris, arranged for a tech (another Chris) to meet me at the store to purchase and help me load them into my vehicle. Both Chrises were extremely accommodating, and I've got to say their store is incredible! I want to go back sometime soon to check out all the technology they have in the store that they offer to the customer.I'm extremely excited to hook up my pair Burmester 956 MKIIs and will leave a detailed review on those separately, given that these amps are in the best of the best category. I have heard them at shows and therefore have very high expectations and will share my experience after installation.Again, many thanks to AV Artistry! We have lived in our home for 12 years and have always struggled with our WiFi. We had AVA upgrade our network. It is amazing! No more problems. We have WiFi throughout our home and no more messy wires! They also upgraded our media room with their Master Artist speakers, Epson projector, and Total Control remote. It’s like going to the movie theater! AVA provided quality products and great service. Highly recommend!

We had AVA do some work at my new dream house. They installed two TV’s, a custom master artist sound bar and alarm system. Could not be happier with everything. The two service techs were great, professional and helpful all in all a very good experience. They made sure we knew how to work everything and explained everything in great detail. Excellent service all around!

I have a very nice system consisting of b&w 802 speakers and surrounds as well. My processor I had wasn’t 4k capable. Chris asked me if I wanted to change speakers also and I said “no, I love these speakers”. He replied you haven’t even heard them yet. Then he pitched me on a trinov processor. It was pricey but now it is one of the best upgrades I have ever made. The transparency and clarity are phenomenal. I am hearing things I never heard before. It really is like night and day. He also installed atmos b&w speakers. They tailor the trinov to the room and it can be tweaked to take into account furnishings,pictures, and everything in the room. A truly amazing piece of equipment. Highly recommend it. Thanks Chris for opening my ears to the possibilities. New review: i just added a Bermester amplifier 350w to power my b&w 802s. Additionally i added a bermester 151mk2 streamer. I would never have believed a streamer could make that much difference. I feel like I have now unlocked the potential of these speakers. Nothing short of incredible. Guests who had heard my system previously are blown away by the clarity and detail of the music. I can now spend hours in my room as I feel like I am hearing a lot of the music for the first time.

Great place to work with. They communicate well and stand behind their work. We had a new TV mounted and a home audio system put in and they were extremely professional. All areas were cleaned well and their cable management was impressive. We have had a couple of issues after install (not their fault) and AVA provided great service. We will continue to use them for any future needs as well as any issues that arise.

I recently moved and wanted to see if Chris would send somone out to simply set up a couple tv's and soundbars that I already had and assure everything was working properly.I've always known about all the super nice high end custom AV systems that Audio Video Artistry has installed in many of our really fine custom homes over the years. I was not aware that AVA actually provides various levels of service and could totally change out my "normal stuff" with much Higher Quality taylored equipment that I felt provided solid value for the cost.I now have and I'm extremely pleased with a nice 65" OLED tv, paired with a custom Master Artist Vermeer soundbar, Dali sub, Seurat speakers and URC Total Control.WOW! what a difference! The sound is consistantly Rich and Solid, from lower to higher volumes. The system is also quite easy to operate which I truly appreicate. Another nice plus is I can easily play music via Spotify, etc. using a network connection vs. hit or miss bluetooth.The full AVA Team was great to work with from Gabrielle at the store to every single Technician that came out. Everyone provided a quality and complete job, and were pleasant and easy to communicate and work with.I've always known AVA was good, but I do not hesitate to recomend Chris, Brad and the full AVA team to any of our Custom Home or Commerical Clients.Carson Looney, architect.

Best in all audio/video needs AVA installed 160" screen Master Artist Monet Cinema theatre being powered by Anthem and controlled by URC Total Control and MA Picssso Dual 12 sub which sounds awesome also 72 inch Master Artist Renoir soundbar In living room, all in one best of the best was great working with chris and his guys with top notch service and knowledge.

Chris and his team upgraded us from a 1st generation master artist to the newest master artist Renoir— it’s beautiful and looks perfect in our living room, but most importantly sounds amazing and works perfectly. They’re the best!

I have used AVA for over 20 years. They have done four different media rooms for me. In fact, when I moved to Charlottesville for a couple years, I hired them to bring my equipment and set everything up. I would never even THINK to use anyone else. Audio and video quality goes up with price but at some point, the cost to upgrade further isn't worth it. They always know to give me the best value for the money and I trust them entirely. Use them......you won't regret it.But the one I'm writing about today involves a huge upgrade I did in the living room -- A Master Artist Reference Cinema System with Picasso Dual 12” sub with Trinnov processor and Crestron Control seven awesome wall speakers and a dynamite subwoofer. The installation was flawless and there was not a speck of dirt -- they cleaned it well. And the equalized the room specifically to the chair that I sit in when I watch.I recommend AVA completely and without reservations!

Chris and his team were very professional and installed the Master Artist Vermeer soundbar with matching Master Artist sub as well as the Master Artist Pollack ceiling speakers! We never have to leave our house for movies. The sound is incredible and we couldn't be happier.

Just finished having AVA rewire my audio/video and install a whole new router with access points. Chris Rogers had his staff of Jaden, Primus, Cythe and Gabrielle team up and do an outstanding job on my complete system. This included a complete rewire and cleanup of all wires to a beautiful and clean setup in my equipment cabinet by my tv. Cannot say enough good things about this company. They know their stuff and promise you will be pleased. I sure am !!!

My husband had Chris and his team come out to our house a few months ago and they really took care of us. They installed a new projector, changed some speakers, and programmed new boxes. We ended up having some issues with one of the remotes and this is where AV Artistry really began to shine in my eyes. No matter how many times I told them about the little issues I was having they wouldn’t leave until I was satisfied that I knew how to use the equipment. That was so nice! Then we had an issue with some RF interference so they ended up swapping our remote out for a WiFi one! This fixed the problems and now I can control the tv from anywhere. I’m so grateful for all of their patience and persistence to get it right. Thank you, thank you!

I started a new home build project and Chris with Audio Video Artistry arrived at my future home after the framing and electrical wiring completion process and took the time to explain the installation process in an extremely courteous and professional manner. I am extremely pleased with the Master Artist Pollack Speakers, as well as my entire home sound system. Chris and his team are awesome and they are true professionals. I had an outdated home theater system. Audio video Artistry Reviewed what I had in place and put together a package using URC Controls. The price was lower than expected and works extremely well. The tech, Cythe, was truly an expert and the installation went very smoothly. He took the time to train me and answered all of my family’s questions. I would gladly use or recommend Audio Video Artistry again and plan to do so on my next project.

I needed a drywall niche that only accommodated a 42” tv reconfigured for a 65” flat screen tv. I consulted with several companies before choosing Audio Video Artistry. I sent pictures and measurements to Chris and he provided me with an itemized quote and equipment suggestions. He also came to my home to view the area at which time he advised it would accommodate a 75” tv if we chose to do so. The drywall work was impressive to watch. They installed a 75” QN900 Samsung Neo QLED 8K tv and custom designed AVA Master Artist “Seurat” Cinema Speakers with amplifier. Chris and the AVA team were always prompt, professional and courteous. They left the work area so clean you would not have known they had been there. The job looks outstanding and we couldn’t be happier with the results.Audio Video Artistry (AVA) recently completed another project at our home and we couldn’t be happier. Chris made recommendations for updating our media room and provided a quote that was very reasonable. They installed a Samsung 85” Neo QLED 4K QN90C tv, custom designed AVA Master Artist “Renoir” soundbar, AVA Master Artist “Matisse” 10” powered subwoofer, and a Blusound Powernode 2i streaming amplifier. Chris and his crew did an outstanding job of upgrading my media room from 2008 technology to a 2023 state of the art home theater. . The installation was very professional and the final result was better than I could have imagined. If you can, get the best your budget will allow. My 7-1-4 Atmos system with B&W speakers, Anthem AV receiver and Sony Laser projector is absolutely amazing. Money well spent ! I highly recommend Audio Video Artistry for your home theater project.

Had Chris come to my house to look at my self installed system. My receiver was going into safety mode and I did not know why. Also wanted to upgrade the sound a tad bit. Chris told me about the Master Artist custom subs that he makes and convinced me to give the entry level Matisse a shot. WOW. This thing is next level! It sounds soo rich and soo good! I couldn't be happier with the sound it puts out. It's not just a thumper... it is quality bass. It took the entire system to the next level. His techs were amazing, too. Cameron was the main guy. I didn't get the other ones name. They arrived when they said they would, they got straight to work, updating me by phone along the way... They found the issue cause my receiver to go into safety mode (a wire had gotten messed up in the attic), they sorted out all of my wire rats nests (I wired it all myself as an amateur when I bought the house) even though they didn't have to, they tweaked the whole system to optimize the sound and picture and they left me one very very happy man. Love spending time in there now. Thanks so much for going the extra mile and getting me all sorted out. Highly recommend their product and their service.

The AVA team does a great job. Gabrielle is especially helpful and responsive. She always answers the phone. Never have to talk to voice-mail which is so nice. The technicians are always very knowledgeable and skilled in their craft.

I just had AVA come out again to update my system. As always they do a great job!They do great work. I highly recommend them.Update 11/4/2020- If you need any AV work like a killer media room, updated Wi-Fi or ethernet network, home automation, or music at your home or business, call and ask Chris Rogers at Audio Video Artistry.  They just came out to my house the other day to do some work for me.   They've completely wired and set up 3 houses for me.  Two were new builds designed from the ground up, and one was an older home in a Historic District that they retrofit.  All their work is first class, and anyone can operate it...

Audio Video Artistry is a wonderful company to work with. Chris responded to my initial inquiry quickly and within days stopped by to review the project and gave me a quote. Despite it being near Thanksgiving, Chris squeezed me into their schedule and I could not be more impressed with the results! They mounted 3 televisions (and cleaned up the wiring, thank goodness) and made sure they were all operating with Roku and cable (they actually fixed a mistake made by the cable installer). I appreciated how they always asked if I was happy with the placement of the televisions before they finalized the mount. The URC Total Control integration system they installed is amazing – I am able to listen to music throughout my home, all controlled through my iPhone. They also provided thorough training on how to use the system. Finally, the Samsung Art TV (that Audio Video Artistry selected and installed) is a beautiful addition to my living room. Even though my project was small, Chris and his team made me feel like a priority. Cythe, Primus and Cameron are very professional and extremely knowledgeable about what they do. Thanks, guys, for making my new place feel like home. I highly recommend Audio Video Artistry for any project, big or small.

Originally had a single star review, but after the issue was resolved nothing but professional work done. Had a smaller project for them installing security cameras and helping with our already established home sound system. They guided us in the right direction and got us all set up.
